That's my birthday present for my best friend 
My twinsister
and told me to watch Natsume Yuujinchou (Book of friends) cuz its super lovely, very interesting and has a super cute fat cat in it!!
The cat from Natsume Yuujinchou is called Nyanko-sensei. This appearance his "vessel" so humans can see him. (Well Natsume can see him anyways, cuz he has the ability to see ghosts/yokais)
Nyanko-senseis actual name is Madara and his god like appearance is totally different from his fat cat one *giggle*
I really love him as much as and do. Because my best friend loves Nyanko-sensei that much, I wanted to draw him for her.
But not in that Anime style. I wanted to draw a (more or less) realistic looking Nyanko-sensei ^^
I have never ever drawn sooo many hair strokes >___<
But it was great fun to draw him. The whole time I was drawing him I thought "more fluff, more fat, more of everything" X'DDD
I really can recommend you the Anime. It's wonderful to watch it. The story is very nice too, as well as all characters. (and cat lovers will love the fat cat!) ^^
