This was my entry for the MaConvention 09 (Fan-)Art Contest.
Topic was Past and Future of Japan.
So I decided to draw a robotic Geisha :D
Yeah stupid idea I know =P
Real Title is "Robotic Geisha"
But I used the same one like for the contest artwork in 2008 ^^

I won second place and my twinsister :iconcloud-dark1470: won the first ^__^
Congrats to her!


Different Refs were used, for Kimono, Make-up (Hair Accesoirs) etc. bg was redrawn from an traditional artwork that I really liked.

Very well done! Glad to see it, eventually...(right after coming home I looked here, I didn't have the time to, yesterday :D ).
Actually I like the idea a lot, as a cbyorg / robot fan...it definitely fits the theme. It's probably a bit "unrobotic" because you don't see a lot of the robo parts but heh, it's good the way it is :) (I just love to see robo parts so I couldn't have enough of them...).

Even though it's probably not the best thing in your gallery (the background is a bit too psycho, for me at least >XD ), it's definitely a worthy image for the contest! Nice!

war absicht, dass man sie nicht zu sehr sieht.
ich wollt's so vermitteln, das der robo part schon so weit
entwickelt ist, dass man ihn erst bei genauem hinsehen sieht.
(eben hände, hals, kopf etc.)
nachdem der restliche körper ja verhüllt ist, konnte man da
nicht so viele Roboter Teile einbauen ^^
(hätte gerne mehr gemacht *gg*)

naja, da war ich schon echt arg faul, ich gebs zu.
Wart nur das Aninite Fanart ab ^^
Das wird bei weitem besser, Nils tritt mich eh brav, damit
es halbwegs gut ausschaut hehe.

Nanana, wer sagt denn, dass das Bild schlecht ist, he! Ist schon sehr gut und wie gesagt, das mit den Roboteilen...du weißt ja, wie sehr ich drauf steh >XD

Aber ich freu mich natürlich auf einen Full Power Beitrag zum Aninite contest, das wird ja was werden =O Deine armen Konkurrenten...

naja bei der nite machens dermal gruppentrennung digital und traditionell (jaja kupfern wieder von der maco ab)
und sie meinten weils ja viiiel zu wenig digitale gibt, wirds nur nen ersten platz geben. voll bescheuert meiner meinung nach.

naja ich hoff jedenfalls, dass nicht nur meine sis und ich digitale artworks einreichen werden xD

Echt, wenige Beiträge O_o
Hätt ich nicht erwartet...aber ich bin ja ein digi-kiddie, das alles digital machen würde.

Und ja, das ist aber auch gut, dass sie das abkupfern, find ich sehr sinnvoll ;)
