Jill Valentine - Cosplay by Evil-Siren Jill Valentine - Cosplay by Evil-Siren
Old Photo retouched a bit in Photoshop :D
(cleared some disturbing things, changed brightness contrast --> unfortunately photo was taken with flash light, gave me my natural eyecolour back --> I had red ones on the photo :XD: bla bla bla)

Selfmade Costume, done in summer 2007.

I cosplayed as Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil Games.
What else .. hmmm ... nothing ^^

I'll move it to scraps later.

Wowww! The Master of Unlocking... Jill "Sandwich" Valentine when she was corny & cheesy!... according to the "epic" English dubbing from the first RE. =P (Razz)

Would you mind sharing the seceret as to how you made to those amazing shoulder pads?
Evil-Siren Featured By Owner Oct 5, 2009  Hobbyist Digital Artist
hmm hard to describe in English ^^;
I used 1 cm thick foam and pleather. I cut the foam into an oval shape
well the radius of the curves were more like a normal circle ... yeah that's really hard to describe for someone who doesn't speak English that well xDDD
Hmm I guess u can say a rectangle with half circles on the ends.

I used the same pattern for the pleather but u need seam allowance of course. ^^
the backside of it lookes like the pattern of a normal t-shirt (but not as long of course :D) than you need the collar ^^
To wear it you need ribbons/ties and fix them on each end of the schoulder pads.

That's it ^^
Hope you could understand what I mean. It's very hard for me to describe something, even in my mother tongue xDDDD

Ah and don't make the shoulder plates too big. I made that mistake ^^;
Measure the size between your neck to the end of your shoulder. ^^
